Do you remember the little red wagons of years ago? Think of life as being like two wagons that are in a race. One is God’s wagon, the other belongs to His enemy, the devil. Unfortunately you find yourself sitting in the devil’s wagon by default (because that is where you were born).
In this race you choose whose side you will be on, and if you choose God’s side you must choose to sit IN the wagon of God. If you try and stay out of this race then you will actually be choosing to be on the devil’s side because everywhere except IN the wagon of God is the devil’s property.
If you stay where you are then you will be helping the devil. It might be a fun ride for a little while with all the bells and whistles, and the diamonds and gold dangling in front of you, but you will be really hurting mentally and physically, and sometimes barely able to move by the end of the race. The devil will eventually crash and burn, and so will you. You will die.
If you chose to move into God’s wagon (The one pushed by Jesus.) then Jesus will ask you to steer, and you will need to trust Him. You will need to go where He tells you to go, but at the end of the race you will be glad you did because you will be alive, you will be loved, you will have total freedom, you will be extremely happy and at complete peace. You will never die (there won’t even be any more pain), and you will be given a place to live in the same house God lives in even. You will be loved and cared for by none other than God Himself.
Which wagon would you choose? Which wagon WILL you choose?
“… choose today whom you will serve. …as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.”
