Sin began in Heaven when Satan made God look dangerous, selfish, and untrustworthy. Ever since then, God has answered that lie—not by force, not by fear, but by revealing who He really is.
In Jesus, we see the Father’s heart made visible. We see mercy touching lepers, love forgiving sinners, compassion feeding the hungry, tenderness welcoming children, kindness lifting the ashamed, and grace kneeling to wash dirty feet.
Jesus is God showing us God. So if we want to know what God is really like, we do not begin with rumors about Him.
We look at Jesus Himself.
