I was taking care of our church school’s Accounts Receivables on the computer one year and needed to create printed copies of each account for the church treasurer. I wanted to print miniature copies of four accounts on each page to make it easier for the treasurer to keep their records up to date.
I had been trying to automate the whole process so that someone else could take over as I was expecting to be moving out of town shortly. I had already worked with this spreadsheet for several days trying to make this work correctly, but just could not figure it out.
I remember praying as I came down the stairs at home one morning asking the Lord that if it was important that I finish this project to help me figure it out because I had lots of other things I needed to be doing. Within just a few minutes after that prayer my spreadsheet worked perfectly and I remember realizing that our God can even program computers. Does that make Him a computer “GEEK”?
Regardless of whether He is or not it makes me wonder, “Why don’t we ask Him for help sooner?”
